  • This piece is part of Adrian Socorro's solo show "Dogs". Here Mr. Socorro encompasses one of his most recurrent topics, the empathy from these amazing companions towards us, humans as well as how they are seen from the scope of the Cuban culture.
    His technique, mainly defined by a somewhat carefree combination of brushstrokes and a profuse use of tropical colors, shows a balanced relationship between structural chaos and order.
    With this series, Mr. Socorro intends to convey specific views of the daily life of humans and their pet dogs, especially those moments that evidence the mutual affection and natural empathy between both.
