  • I was interested in including androgynous men or those who displayed other forms of non-normative sexuality, so that they would constitute strong figures who told a story of empowerment. It is a visual story where the queer body, a body that disagrees with normalizing social practices, stands as a free being that chooses for itself, as an individual who belongs to itself in its entirety, to whom its beauty belongs. , their body, their pleasure, and their own fluids. Beyond the apparent frivolity of the images, these scenarios seem to float within a hedonistic atmosphere of beauty and enjoyment, something far from accidental in my work, where one of the main objectives that I outline for myself is to subvert and honor sexual minorities and provide them, from my perception and platform as an artist, with a vision that favors empowerment and social positioning rather than victimization or defeat.
