Request Private Show Request Private Show Biography I come from a family of artists, that´s why my interest in art goes back to my childhood. In 2008 I graduated in Graphic Design from the ISDI (Superior Institute of Design), which have given me tools to communicate, from an artistic posture, my philosophy about the world. ​ My work is a short joke. I try, trough parody -desacralizing weapon par excellence- to propose a reflection about my surrounding reality, specifically on topics such as history and politics. I try, as Baldessari, not to make boring art; I attempt to make images with a great visual strength, besides the conceptual one. From the formal point of view, I appropriate minimalism resources to show my messages more clearly and concisely. In this aspect, my work is characterized by the use of flat colors with well-defined contours in my paintings, and the use of ready-made, which gives a certain impersonal touch and erase the artist's footprint. ​ The work and life of Marcel Duchamp with his irreverent and iconoclastic grenades are my greatest influence. Other artists who inspire me are Ilia Repin, Mauricio Cattelan, the American John Baldessari and the cuban Flavio Garciandía.
